SKKP President appointed to the Tourism Council
One of the key announcements made during the Congress was the appointment of Agnieszka Szymerowska, President of the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland (SKKP), to the Tourism Council by the Minister of Sport and Tourism.
“This appointment is a wonderful recognition of our commitment to date and, at the same time, a strong motivation to continue working for the development of tourism and the meetings industry in Poland,” commented SKKP representatives. The presence of a representative of the meetings industry in such an important advisory body to the Minister opens up new opportunities for synergies for the entire tourism sector.
SKKP honored on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Polish Tourist Organization
During a gala ceremony accompanying the Congress, the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland (SKKP) received a prestigious award on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Polish Tourist Organization (POT). The award was presented by the President of the POT, Rafał Szmytke, and the Minister of Sport and Tourism, Jakub Rutnicki, and was received by representatives of the Association.
“It is a great joy and honor for us to be among the recognized institutions. We treat this award for many years of cooperation not only as a summary of our joint journey, but above all as inspiration for further intensive activities for the development of tourism and the meetings industry in Poland,” emphasize SKKP members.
The Future of Tourism Congress in Kołobrzeg confirmed that the Polish tourism industry is developing dynamically, and that strategic partnerships and recognition of the commitment of key leaders, such as President Agnieszka Szymerowska, are the foundation for further success in Poland and internationally.
